Our 7’s tournament in memory of Eoinie Farrell took place on Sunday, 1 December, and was a huge success.
Congratulations to Caulry GAA who ran out winners of the Cup Final against Millmore Gaels in an entertaining contest. Esker Gaels were victorious in the Shield Final overcoming Tubberclair GAA in a hard fought final that finished on penalties!
Well done to Caulry’s Cormac Murphy who was Player of the Match in the Cup Final and to Sean Elliffe of Esker Gaels who was Shield Final Player of the Match after 2 great penalty saves.
Huge thank you to all teams and supporters who made the trips to Tang GAA. Many thanks to all within the club who assisted with organising and running the tournament, our referees, Eoghan Darcy and Pat Fox and also Ollie Gallagher for his extensive coverage of the day.
Finally, many thanks also Morans Coaches and Cllr. Thomas Farrell for supporting our event!
